Non-subscribers may try the product free for 7 days before incurring the monthly Lightroom subscription fee.* I'm not alone.* A qualifying Adobe Photoshop Lightroom subscription is required. Adobe responded with their new scheme because of backlash. I'm familiar with Photoshop and was willing to pay for it.

I've used Lightroom and don't care for it. Why must I value it? I'm not invalidating your decision and telling you to pirate a copy of CC, so kindly stop advising me on blatantly obvious solutions to a problem that you don't agree even exists. I'm not trying to convince you not to value their CC strategy. And I'd love to add a useless step like converting to DNG before editing but I'd rather find a company that wants my business. Now to keep ACR updated I have to buy CS6 and I'm afraid Adobe has already alienated me too much to care and I certainly don't trust them to continue their support for ACR on CS6.their word is meaningless.

I was probably going to upgrade to CS7, but CS6 didn't having anything that I wanted or needed.

Who said I own CS6? It's easier to assume I have no idea what I'm talking about I guess. The full list of new cameras supported by these versions is as follows: To install Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe recommends using the update mechanisms in Photoshop CS6 or CC For users of older Photoshop versions, Adobe DNG Converter 8.2 is also now available.Ĭlick here to download Lightroom 5.2 for WindowsĬlick here to download Lightroom 5.2 for MacĬlick here to download DNG Converter 8.2 for WindowsĬlick here to download DNG Converter 8.2 for Mac

Both updates bring support for 16 additional cameras, including the Canon EOS 70D, Fujifilm X-M1, and Sony RX100 II, along with new lens profiles and bug fixes. ACR 8.2 is designed to work with Photoshop CC but, as promised, is also compatible with Photoshop CS6. Adobe has released Camera Raw 8.2 and Lightroom 5.2, as final versions of updates that were originally posted as 'release candidates'.
